Baked Macaroni and Cheese

BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE
*1 16 oz package Elbow Macaroni
*1 c. Shirley J's White Cheddar Sauce Base
*3 c. water
*1 small onion, sliced thinly and diced

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 minutes or until al dente; and drain water.
3. In a small pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil and add white cheddar sauce base. Whisk until smooth consistency.
4. Add onions to sauce.
5. Layer macaroni and cheddar sauce mixture until pan is full. Sprinkle parmesan cheese andpour melted butter on top. (if so desired)
6. Bake in a preheated oven for 20-30 minutes or until mixture has set up!!!
