Mom's Swedish Meatballs (revamped Shirley style!)

At our cook'n demo today, we had a fabulous time! Great friends, good food and good fun! Here are the recipes!



Mom’s Swedish Meatballs

  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • ½ lb. Jimmy Dean reg. Sausage
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 egg
  • ½ can tomatoe sauce
  • 1 T. Shirley J’s Pizza/Pasta Seasoning Mix
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 10 oz. water
  • 2 tsp. Shirley J’s Beef Slow Cooker Seasoning

    1. Mix all ingredients except for water and beef seasoning.
    2. Roll meat into balls.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
    4. Crockpot on high for 40-60 minutes.
    5. Then add water and Beef Slow Cooker seasoning and turn crock pot on low for another 1-2 hours!
