A fast and easy Sunday dinner!
Sunday Pork Roast
2 lb. Pork Roast
2/3 c. Shirley J slow cooker Pork Seasoning
3 cups water
4 stalks of Celery, washed and cut in half
1 lb. baby carrots
1 small onion, thickly sliced
2 tsp. Shirley J all-purpose seasoning
Turn slow cooker on low. Add water, Pork Seasoning, and all purpose seasoning. Whisk together. Add Pork Roast, celery, carrots, and onion. Let slow cook for 7-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes
7-8 large potatoes, washed and cubed
1/4 c. White Cheddar Soup Base
Add potatoes to a large stock pot. Boil on high until soft. Drain potato water into separate bowl. Add White Cheddar Soup Base to cooked potatoes with about 1/4 c. water. Mix on low. Continue adding water until you have the consistency that you like. Sprinkle a small amount of grated cheddar and green onions to top.
*Also add a nice green salad to punch up the color!
